Can you tell me the best places in South Dakota for walleye?

If you’re looking for some great places in South Dakota to catch walleye you have several choices. First, the Missouri River is a great choice and will lead to several hours of fishing and hopefully catching of some record size walleye. There are other lakes in the area that you need to try too. In fact you can get a package vacation deal that will have you fishing in one of these wonderful areas. Check out Lake Francis Case above Fort Randall dam that is located in Pickstown, South Dakota. In fact Lake Francis Case is rated as one of the best places to fish for walleye in the United States. Also check out Sunset Lodge near Pierre, South Dakota. You will be able to fish the Cheyenne River for some great walleye fishing too. Also Lake Oahe is another good place that you need to go and try out the walleye fishing at. These are only a few of the places that you can find in South Dakota to fish for walleye. Remember that walleye may bite through the line, so don’t get frustrated if this happens to you. However, keep in mind if you want to fish for walleye in South Dakota you will need to get a South Dakota fishing license. Around the Black Hills area you will find several other little lakes to test your fishing talent out. However, if you want the best spot you should really try Lake Francis Case first. Again don’t forget about the Missouri River and fishing for walleye there. Try out Lake Francis Case first and move on from there. Good luck in your fishing, and hope you catch a bunch of walleye at one or all of these locations.
