Attracting Bass with a Cordell Red Fin Minnow Plug

Category: Uncategorized

I read an article that mentioning “waking a Cordell Red Fin minnow plug”. How do you do this and when should you use it when fishing for Bass?

The basic function of a Cordell Red Fin Minnow Plug is to cut through the water surface in a “V-wake” motion. Moving in this fashion draws bass attention to the surface. Once there, the bass will strike in apprehension of the lure’s movement. Use this lure with a seven _-foot bait caster rod and 20-pound monofilament fishing line. Cast out the line and let the lure begin to sink below the surface. Let it hang out there for a few moments before jerking the line back towards you. The ideal spots for casting are gravel bars or rocky places with quick deep water drop offs. Hold the rod at a 10 o’clock hand position. Keep the line speed at a rate that will allow the lure tail to swish back and forth across the water surface. This will entice the attention of any bass lurking below the surface. Make every attempt to hold a loose stance on the line. You have no way of knowing the weight or size of fish that will strike on the line. The Cordell Red Fin Minnow Plug is ideal for going after striped bass. It can be used anytime when bass fishing. Cordell fishing lures made a debut onto the fishing lure market in order to assist fishing guides in helping clients find success in deeper water territories. The design and material taps into some of the best technological advances available. A close relationship with fishing guides is maintained in order to ensure each Cordell lure produces the most effective, reliable and durable lure product on the market today. As a result, many feel that the Cordell fishing lure is a product that will not fail.
