Walleye Fishing in Canada

Can you give me a list of the top walleye fishing resorts in Canada that also show you how to do it?

There is a number of fantastic fishing lodges located in Canada. Many of these offer the option of guided or un-guided tours. Since you inquired as to the ones that provide assistance, I would recommend booking a guided tour if staying at one of the fishing resorts. To start things off, there is the Pickerel Bay Cabins houses in Saskatchewan, Canada on the beautiful Lac LaRonge. This fishing resort offers up some of the best chances to capture the elusive walleye in all of Canada. Many first time anglers have walked away with a trophy sized walleye to show for a day out on the waters. Outside of walleye, trout and northern pike fish are popular catches as well. The guided tours with Pickerel Bay Cabins provide everything that is needed for a day of walleye chasing. This includes filleting, freezing and trophy preparations as well. Guides are on the boat to provide assistance and guidance when needed during a day of fishing. There is also a tackle shop on site where anglers can purchase equipment needed as well. Once back on dry land, the cabin resort provides cabin accommodations equipped with all the comforts of home. All in all, the cabin resorts offers up exquisite lakes to chase after Canada walleye. Another great Canada fishing resort is the Reelpro Fishing Charters Ontario. This resort sits in the heart of Ontario with guided fishing tours to Kawarthas, Muskoka, Haliburton and Green Bay water bodies for walleye fishing. Experienced guides navigate boats towards hot spot areas for walleye, Muskie, Northern Pike and Bass, among others. Guides show anglers the best species of fish that will look the best on your dinner table. Also covered are techniques in safe catch and release of any unwanted fish. The fishing resort practices Selective Harvest to ensure fish remain in the lake for many generations to come.

Walleye fishing on Lake St. Joseph in northern Ontario is fantastic. Take a look at the Old Post & Village. I have been there 17 times and never had a bad trip.
