Lures for Walleye %u2028

What are the fishing lures for walleye?

When some people go out to fish, they get to thinking that anything they throw out there will catch any fish. But you should really check specific lures when you go fishing for walleyes. There is a certain way that you set up those lures in order to have the best chances of catching some walleye. A lot of people love fishing with jigs to catch walleye. These lures will go to the bottom of where you are fishing. This is the best thing to do, since these fish love staying in the deeper water. Next favorite is crank baits; remember when you pick your jig size that you should make it the right size to keep your bait running along the bottom of the area. Also, you need to keep in mind how many weeds are around the area you are fishing. You don’t want to put a small lure out that the walleye may not even notice. Try out different sizes to see what works the best for you. With a jig you need to find out what size and shape you will need to use to catch walleye. These jigs come in a bunch of shapes. Remember that not all areas are the same either. The walleye in one spot may love a ball shaped jig, while other areas they won’t even bite on them. Pick a lure that has bright colors on it; these will allow the walleye to see it easier when the water isn’t as clear. Mud may abound at the bottom of the lake or river you are fishing from. With the bright colors the walleye will be able to spot your lure, attacking it like it is food. Good luck picking the right lure, and fun fishing. Don’t get easily upset if the first lure you pick doesn’t work that well. Just keep trying them out.
