hey sept is an awsome month for walleyes they realy are stapping on the old feed bag you realy should think about fishing at night this time of year check your calender though you will want some moon light all the lakes around where i live are or have gin clear water and aside from the first few weaks of seson they (walleye) reteat to the deep holes and hold tight untill the sun sets and with the moon rise so do the eyes feeding in the shallows (2-10 feet) agressevly jig and minnow are always the best bet but your minnows should be at least 4in. long or more a rapala #13 husky jerk is a grat lure for this type of fishing swim baits are also a go to lure for eyes again 4 or 5in. with eiter a 3/8oz or 1/2oz jighead in clear water natural colors seem to be the most productive although the firetiger is always apatizing to the eyes one ting i forgot if you find cabage weed you will find eyes
