I looked at them just now. I would probably never use them myself, but some anglers may see them as something they need to have in the tackle box. Are they beneficial for walleye fishing? I do not see any reason they would benefit you, but they do have some use I suppose. I cannot say one way or another if they are a good buy or not, since I have never tried one or even heard about them until now. I will do some more checking, but right now, I cannot comment on them. I always like to try new things and then let everyone know how it works. I am not sure if I would be interested in this product or not. I will have to see what this years fishing brings before I decide if I will try it and see how it works. I have never felt a need for something like this, but then again, I might try it and like it. You can check back with me in a few months and see if I used it or not. I will give you an honest opinion about the product if I use it. If there is something that can help us catch more walleye, great. If it scares them off, then that is defeating the game. I do want to read a little more about the Planing Float before making a decision to buy or not. I am fussy when it comes to what I keep in my tackle box.
