If you are looking for a good place to do some ice fishing for walleye, Fort Peck in Montana is where you want to go. If you stay closer to the marina, you will even find some holes already drilled because they have tournaments in this area throughout the winter fishing season. This is the only lake, river or reservoir in the area that seems to be good for ice fishing and hooking a walleye. However, if you talk to some of local anglers, they may have another popular area where ice fishing is good for walleye.
