Pine Nut Crusted Walleye:
(Main ingredients)

For one serving...
1 8-ounce walleye fillet
1/2 cup pine nuts
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup buttermilk or milk
salt and pepper, for taste
3 eggs
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil

Preparation:

Add salt and pepper to the flour. Mix the eggs and buttermilk, and then set it aside, then crush the pine nuts and mix them with the breadcrumbs. (Some individuals often use Japanese breadcrumbs because of their coarse texture.)

Coat the fillet in seasoned flour, and then dip in the egg mixture, and lastly the breading. Press the fillet firmly into the breading to make sure it's covered.

After this, fry the fillet until golden brown, about 3 minutes on both sides, beginning over high heat, and then reducing to medium.

The Walleye is ready to serve and eat. Many people prepare homemade tartar sauce too. In addition, some individuals serve a side dish or cornbread as well.
