Fishing researcher, Dan Eggertsen, answers a variety of questions concerning how you can catch Walleye quickly and easily.

Night Fishing Tips For Walleye

The walleye respond well in shaded times of the day as well as along the shore line areas of the water.  They like to hang out in the mouths of the water as well as in the coves and natural rock formations.  You can easily attract these fish using live minnows and shimmery lures.  There is a variety of lures and jigs in which work very well in catching the walleye.  If you are using jigs, in which you should always do while catching the walleye, you need to try to stay with colors such as orange, magenta and green.  These colors in combination with the shimmery, glittery lures will catch just enough light to make the minnow and your lure an appetizing meal. There are others in which they will respond to, just not as well.

If you follow the tips in which we have provided here, then you will definitely have a wonderful fishing experience.  You will catch more fish than you have ever thought that you could.  In essence, paying close attention to your surroundings as well as paying close attention to the habits of these fish will insure that your experience will be everything that you want it to be.

Fishing has long since been a past time that we have enjoyed with our fathers and their fathers, but with the steady innovations and the tips in which can be provided today, the long lazy days of catching just one or two fish in a day are long gone.  Now you can actually bring home enough fish for a couple of awesome fish frys in a matter of hours. Remember to use live bait though, just like you did when you were a kid fishing with dad and grandpa.

The fish like to have a last meal too.
