Can you catch walleye with an electrical charge?

You will not catch them with an electrical charge, but they might come to the water top because of the charge. Keep in mind that this is not the way to fish for walleye or any other fish. You could do more damage to the other underwater life and vegetation, which eventually will result in the movement of walleye from the area. I know a lot of people are selling units for shocking fish, but this is banned in almost every area I know about fishing at. It is not a system you want to get caught doing. Walleye are easy enough to catch without using improper methods. The DNR sets up regulations and guidelines for catching all species of fish and if you are caught doing something that is forbidden on that lake or river, you can lose your fishing license. For how long, I do not know. Every violation in fishing has a different punishment. If you want to catch walleye, use a jig and a minnow. Find some areas where the walleye school and drop in for a bite. You will have much better luck the old fashion way and catch just what you need rather than disturbing the entire makeup of the water you fish. Take your time and find out where the walleye are or could be and you will have some luck. This goes for any angler fishing for any species of fish anywhere. You need to respect the water to keep the fish where they live.
