Where And How To Catch Arkansas Walleye

Strategies
The Walleye will strike at your bait at regular intervals as they are not known for being cautious eaters. Because of this habit, its makes it easier for them to eat your bait at small intervals without getting hooked since it’s difficult to realize their presence with this kind of feeding method. This is one of the main reasons that make it so hard for fishermen to catch the walleye. Though the walleye is a tricky fish when it comes to catching it, there are several strategies that can be used to catch them.

The walleye has a unique way of feeding. It usually inhales the surrounding water along with the bait, however if anything happens to interfere with this unique process, the walleye will not take the bait. Therefore the idea is to find a way that will make the walleye inhale the water around it along with the bait all the way, so that it can get hooked.

To make your fishing trip more successful especially with the walleye, you will have to use waves that will give you some slack in your fish line. The slack will ensure that the walleye continues its feeding process all the way without getting scared, giving you an opportunity to catch it. The waves will also act as a signal when the walleye bites your bait, since the fishing line will tighten. However, too much slack is not recommended as it won’t serve the purpose and the bites will go unnoticed, thus making the walleye escape the hook.
