Have you ever fished Carr Creek Lake? it is rated Good for Walleye fishing. I have been there one time last summer and had some motor problems and did not do well. I am looking for a lake I can consistently catch walleye on near eastern kentucky. Carr Creek is a little over two hours from my home. Any advice would be super.

Live in Central/Eastern Pa. Fish Delaware river near Easton, Pa a lot, especially for smallies. LAst year tied into some nice walleye @ nov-dec. Water temp @38-42. Used smoke grubs with 1/8 colored jig head. Is there a time in the winter when they shut down and what is ideal water temp in fall or spring??

I am looking for a fishing rig I used 30-40 years ago. It consists of a wire leader that you pass into the mouth of a minnow and then when it comes out the rear, you attach a two pronged hook which hugs the sides of the minnow. There is a small spinner at the front. One then trolls with this. Can you tell me the name of this rig and where I might find it.
