Where are the best areas to catch walleye in New York State?

I heard there is a good walleye fishing on Lake St. Clair. Any specific areas of the lake that are better than others?

What strategy would you use to catch walleye at mille lacs?

Would like some imput on a great fishing resort and lakes for walleye around the Temagami Ontario region? Was disappointed in “the olive lake resort” and fishing there. Also when would be the best time to fish walleye ….some say right after spawning season…but when does that occur in the above area?

We are coming up the weekend of October 4th to fish for walleye in the Dtroit river and in lake St Clair. What methods do you prefer the best at this time of the year?

Are there any walleyes in California. If so, where. There were an abundant number of northern pike in Davis Lake (Outside of Sacramento) that were eradicated by Fish and Game as predators to the salmon and trout population. I have not found anywhere in CA that produces Walleyes. If CA is unproductive, what neighboring states have walleyes? Thanks
